Recently, Victor Pires has been highly active in his professional career, balancing a dynamic schedule of performances, masterclasses, and educational initiatives. He has been invited to perform and teach at various universities, sharing his expertise and passion for trumpet performance with students and fellow musicians. In addition to his academic and performance engagements, Victor is one of the founders of the Festival Internacional de Trompetes, a prestigious trumpet festival that has quickly gained recognition in the international music community. The festival’s inaugural edition brought together over 100 participants and featured seven world-renowned trumpet artists, including the legendary Philip Smith. Through his commitment to performance and education, Victor continues to inspire the next generation of musicians while fostering a global appreciation for the art of trumpet playing.
